This is a 50-second AI-generated short film using Runway Gen-4,
set in a universe inspired by Moebius and Jodorowsky.
The goal was to stress-test character and visual consistency within a stylized, cinematic world.

In AI-driven production, character consistency is essential for narrative clarity, editability, and cross-shot coherence. It ensures stable identity across frames, enabling reliable previsualization, IP prototyping, and scalable content generation.

I personally prefere the render style of Kling or VEO, so why using Runway ?
For a final length of 50' I had to generate over 400 generations. This includes not only video but also static visual of characters and environment background.
Runway is great if you want a lot of iterations for your generations.
With a unlimited plan, Runway does not charge you by generation which is to me its main strength within the industry in addition to interesting tools regarding static generations.
Meaning you can explore and test without running out of credits while waiting Flow becomes available in EU.
Beside that, the success rate of generation is probably 30 to 40% at max which I think is reasonable for an unlimited plan.
